Seriously. I just didn't want to own up to it or sound whiny/ungrateful, but it's so true. Besides it just being routine, you get used the sense of community. There's this comfort that comes from knowing that there are all these people going through the same things that you are. And when I got signed, in addition to being over the moon happy, I also felt...lonely. I don't know; maybe it's b/c I don't have a lot of agented (or really even unagented) writerly friends, but once you are repped it seems like no one really talks about the ups and downs. I kind of wish they did b/c sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone :).
Hope you're doing well!
Ninja GirlNinja Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00901215698632029838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5439499929311889062.post-40550172974414602342014-03-03T19:47:52.333-06:002014-03-03T19:47:52.333-06:00We humans are creatures of habit! I don't think I'll ever stop checking because the sites I visit offer great writing advice as well, but if I ever strike agenting and publishing gold, I may not check them as often and I probably would miss it. And that's okay. Not weird. New ventures call for a little change in routine. But Query Tracker does have awesome advice. And you can be one of their success stories! Great post!
