Insecure Writer's Support Group

First Wednesday of the month, so you know what that means!
Time for IWSG

Co-hosts for this month are Nancy Gideon, Bob R Milne, Doreen McGettigan, Chrys Fey, Bish Denham, and Pat Garcia!

Oh insecurity. You're always popping up at stupid times. Like, who invited you insecurity? Not me, that's for sure.

But in all seriousness, I'm feeling pretty good right now. Well, no, that's not true. I'm a bit of a stressed out mess. But, I'm a point where I think I have a handle on things, and I don't particularly want to talk about what was stressing me out, for fear that the stress will take hold of the situation once more.

Which Sarah does. not. want.

So no details about my insecurities this month.

But the good thing about insecurity, at least for me and at least in regards to writing, is that it passes. I get my confidence back. Nothing lasts forever and I can fix anything.

How are your insecurities this month?

I love your don't acknowledge them and they have less power approach. Sadly all my insecurities are the same. Sigh. Maybe i should try ignoring them...

Glad you're not feeling insecure at the moment! It used to pass more quickly for me... Not sure what this longer insecurity thing is about but I am hoping I am ready to break onto a new and higher plateau.

My insecurity is that the month of August will be a dead dog as far as writing goes. Please, school, get here quick!

That's me too. Insecurity swings away and comes back like a pendulum. :-)

You're funny! It's great that you're getting a handle on your insecurities and know what might trigger them. Good luck on everything!
