First Wednesday of the month means it's time for IWSG!
Co-hosts this month are: Chemist Ken, Suzanne Sapseed, and Shannon Lawrence
My insecurities this month are the same as pretty much any other month (second verse, same as the first!) Time.
I have so much to do not only for March, but also just this semester in general.
I need the revise my critical thesis for the MFA
I need to revise my picture book for the MFA
I need to start my MG fantasy for the MFA
I need to continue writing Book 2 for ASSASSIN'S HEART
That is a lot of work I need to get done. And I've never written a MG novel before, so that brings with it some unease.
But the solution, of course, is the same as it almost always is: just do the work.
The only way out is through, and all of that.
How's your March looking?

THIS IS WHERE THE BADGE IS SUPPOSED TO GO BUT BLOGGER IS BEING AN ASS AND NOT LETTING ME UPLOAD ANY PICTURES BECAUSE OF STUPID ASS BLOGGER REASONS.
ahem.

Just think like a twelve year old. Then you'll be able to write it.
And your explanation for no badge gave me a good laugh this morning!
You.Are.Awesome. I'm pretty sure if I found you outside of cyberspace, we'd be friends. Anyway, good for you for being super busy and having actual bullet points to complete (with MFA thrown all up in there). I have: the fourth book in my series which I've put aside to focus on a new project that landed in my lap somewhere around new years. Only two bullet points, but still. Things are heavy and busy. Later!
Ha. Blogger is such a booger. March is looking busy with edits and preparation for A to Z. That's all fine and good, but what I'd rather be doing is starting a new novel.
Time, or lack of, seems to be a consistent theme today. I'd like to dedicate this month to reading, and getting a job.
As much as I like Blogger, I still want to give it a swift kick in the pants sometimes. I wish I could gift you a time-turner!
One step in front of the other...that's all you can do when the world gets hectic! You'll be fine! :)
I'm looking forward to March, thanks for asking. Now that I've dawdled away all of January and February, I guess it's time to get to work.
So yeah, I'm in Florida, so right now, my March is looking like a mild summer in a northern state with highs in the mid to upper 80s. *sigh* Other than weather, it's edits, edits--oh, and edits. Someday I'll get my groove on. In the mean time, I'll just keep plodding along. (and for the record, you've got this MFA thing licked! It's going to bow to the sheer awesome of your awesomeness)
March is starting out crappy with snow & ice. But that means more time to write. Yay! As you say, just do it. You'll feel so good as you check off what you've gotten done. Good luck!
