Vacation, though, was no big deal for me. It's not like there was a special "dog day" where everyone showered me with gifts and stuff. I mean, they SHOULD have, but they didn't.
Instead, I had to go to the vet because I was peeing so much and now I have to take some pills for a few days. Stoopid infections. Could've been worse, though, I guess. I could've been one of the TWO piggers that had scratches on their eyes and ALSO had to go to the vet. I've been there. No thanks.
Onto the fun!

Okay, cookie monster cupcakes and acid cat--hilarious.
Okay, those were awesome!
Sorry you were sick, Yvie. But glad to see you back.
Rain - i've been laughing at the cupcake one for almost a full week
Alex - yay! Thanks! We try
Maria - thanks. It was a two vet trip in one day sort of deal, once for a gpig and once for her. sigh
It's not like there was a special "dog day" where everyone showered me with gifts and stuff.
Oh, Yvie, isn't that every day?
Teebore - very true. Very true.
i like the sphinx cat wearing the scrunchie (is that what it is?)
and that fat cat pic is on a calendar of fat cats i gave to my boss last christmas
My poor dog, a Boston Terrier, has had to go to the vet three times for eye scratches. :(
Love the fat cat/facebook photo. Too true!
*snort* Love the public transport one. I always enjoy all of them, but I thought that was particularly clever. Yvie, I hope the medicine works fast!
LOLOL! Thanks for this. Needed it today!!!
Oh, I love cookie monster! He's my favorite character on the Street lol. Also, can I just say again, your dog is soooooooo cute, always makes me smile :)
Have a great weekend Falen,
Ninja Girl
That was the most incredible video! A kinetic sculptor--never heard of that. And those things reminded me a little of the Imperial Walkers from Star Wars.
Did you hack my computer, or where else did you get a picture of my attempt to make cookie monster cookies? (Seriously tried this once...looked just like the bottom picture.)
Thanks for the laughs!
So Falen, I'm coming back literally just to say that the cookie monster picture totally knocked my socks off. Every time I thought of it throughout the day (which was often), I burst into sudden unkempt laughter. My poor, poor family.
If the caption had been anything other than "Nailed it," it might not have been AS funny. But I could just picture the baker who looked at his wobbly cupcakes slouching over the pan, and proclaimed in a complacent tone, "Nailed it."
Thanks so much for posting. =D
Okay, um, that photo of the seals? Awesome.
And that video was really cool, too.
Anne - that fat cat is all over LOLcats. And yeah, it looks like a scrunchie
LG - we've only had to go once for the dogs, but two gpigs at the same time was crazy!
Hart - i love that one too! And the meds kicked in immediately, so no worries there
Jessica - you're welcome! Just trying to keep it easy on the fridays
Ninja - well, keeping in mind that i'm quite biased, i have to say she's like the best dog ever. Just enough sass to keep you laughing, just enough sweet to make you smile
Julie - right?! It totally makes me want to make some awesome little kinetic sculpture to walk around. I'd probably fail miserably at it. Probably need a degree in mechanical engineering
Clutz - hah! You know me, hacker extraordinaire
Rain - Yay! I'm glad you liked it as much as i did! When i first saw it, i had to go back and look at it multiple times for the same reason, and then show my fam. You're completely right - the "nailed it" part makes it.
Matt - it makes me want to write a story where some kids are walking on a beach crawling with kinetic sculptures.
Yvie, I'm sorry about your trip to the vet. Stoopid infections. YOu should have been showered with gifts, or at least a few cookies, preferably Cookie Monster cupcakes.
And how did you know that Facebook picture was really me???
DDDDAAAAAHHHH!!!!
ohmygoodness!
i've recently become a little (extremely)OBSESSED with cupcake baking- this probably has something to do with my love of the show CUPCAKE WARS. but i'm constantly making cupcakes right now, and i always feel just like this! i finish, and i'm like "Boo-yah! Nailed IT!" and my family takes a bite and gags as they try to swallow them down, and then plaster smiles on and mutter... "mmm. good." then they run to the bathroom for some reason...
and the facebook one! YES!!!! i'm getting ready to change my blog around, and i'm changing my avatar to actually have me on it, you know. but not only did i crop the heck out of the pic, i manipulated it like crazy! my hubby and kids couldn't tell who it was! hahahahahahahAAAAA!!!! :)
oh yvie! i'm sorry you were sick! but it's good to have you back!
Wow, that was a great video! Thanks for sharing! :)
OMG. That super fat cat on FB made me laugh!
