In Which I Pass On Awards

I've been given a few awards lately and thought I'd just pop them in here real quick (also I'm a bit behind on writing blog posts, so I'm cheating by devoting a whole post to these awards.)

First, I received the Sugar Doll award from Karen at I'm Always Write

Also the Stylish Blogger award from Abby Annis (who's name always confuses me because I had a friend named Anna Abbey...)

The rules for both these are to reveal 5 unusual facts about myself. I don't know about unusual, but I'll give it a try

1. I play the violin

2. I like to eat liver

3. I used to have reoccurring nightmares with alligators

4. My fingers are double jointed

5. I can only whistle between my teeth

So there you have it.

I will pass the Sugar Doll award onto:

SonshineMusic at Sonshine Thoughts

M.R.J. Le Blanc at Libray of Andunien

and the Stylish Blogger award onto:

Achinghope at Slumpvis Musings

KayKay at KayKay's Corner

See you tomorrow!

PS - if you're not wearing green today, I'm pinching you through the blogosphere!

Why on earth do you eat liver?! That's so gross.

And of course, being Bl-Irish I'm wearing green and claddagh necklace and ring my daddy got me from Ireland.

Do you still play the violin? Do you enjoy liver with fave beans and a nice Chianti?

I'm jealous of your teeth whistling: I can't whistle at all.

if you're not wearing green today, I'm pinching you through the blogosphere!

Like I said on Facebook, unless you're hella Irish (I'm not) or took the day off to get tanked (I didn't), St. Patrick's Day is kind of a lame holiday.

That said, I AM wearing green, but that's mainly just because I happened to grab a green shirt this morning. I didn't make the connection until I got to work.

@hannah- umm, if you don't eat liver you don't know what you're missing

@teebore- pretty sure you grabbed that shirt on purpose today to avoid the pinching, and now you're just lying about it

@Anne- I've HAD liver and I DO NOT LIKE IT, SAM I AM!

@Teebore- Bubo!!! I love BUBO!! Do you think he's gonna be in the new movie?! kidding. probably not. sad.

Congrats! I like liver too but cannot play the violin although I like to listen to it. I had an imaginary alligator when I was 6 who would follow me to school so the monsters in the sewers wouldn't get me.

Happy St. Patty's Day! Yes, I'm wearing green.

Liver? I don't even know what the stuff looks like, let alone how to prepare it. More for you!

Congrats on the awards.

Palindrome - have you been to ichibans? they make delicious liver. so so nummy. also, we gots to eat at fogo sometime soon...
Also, Bl-irish FTW!

Teebore - i don't like beans. But i will eat liver with onions sometimes. And sometimes Anne and i will break out the instruments and tackle some music. But imop it's never as fun without a full orchestra

Anne - i also think he's wearing the green shirt "as a coincidence"

Piedmont - i'm not even afraid of alligators, so i've come to the conclusion that maybe i was eaten by one in a past life or something

Elana - one of the easiest and best ways is broiling or grilling them in BBQ sauce. We do that a lot in the summer with chicken livers

Soutpaw - snowmold is this lacy moldy stuff that appears when the snow melts. It only lasts for like a day

Nicole - indeed all of them. But some more than others

Stephen - liver is delicious!

Eeeeee....k. That is my cry of surprise and delight.

Ugh on the liver.

But, I suppose someone has to eat it, so I'd rather it was someone who enjoyed it and not me. :D

And I, being Scottish, refuse to celebrate that Irish holiday. I wore red and black, and mourned the death of Scotsmen.
