Friday Fun Words

Yvie here. For any of our new followers, I've been charged with writing the Friday posts on Mommy's blog. So I make up definitions for blogger word verification words.

I go where I want!

This week Anne went away for some stoopid job thing, which means I didn't get any kisses or cuddling from her for 3 whole days! Yes, Mommy gave me tons to make up, but still. I require multi human love.

So to teach Anne a lesson, I ate her cupcake.

That will teach her to leave a chair pushed back so I can sneak onto the dining room table.

Oh, and Anne? It was delicious.

Onto the words!

Emoram - an angst ridden, male sheep

Teepie - this is a convoluted word which can mean eating a delicious baked desert in a house made of hide. Other definitions may include a baked dessert made from a warm herbal beverage.

Shesever - when a woman makes a cut

Sturap - when a man called Stuart makes rhythmic music

Eelopa - when a pair of water snakes swim off and get married without their parent's permission

Polludan - when Nate gets tired of doing all the plant reproductive work so he lets his brother Dan take over for awhile

And that's it for this week, ape-friends! I'll be back next week with more words.

Good morning Sarah (and Daughter).

OMG! Emoram like Emo Ram, that is HILARIOUS. I almost fell out of my chair but I'm at work. Would his offspring be emolambs?

My daughter has a fun acronym for RAP: Retards attempting poetry.

Shameless promotion:

Please visit my blog and comment today. I have a post by guest blogger Justine Dell where she shares an ACTUAL query letter of hers that found success.

She is a wonderfully lady, always willing to help another writer and I would really like her to get the recognition she deserves.

Thanks!

BTW my captcha word for this comment if Fantsili - when a writer combines fantasy and comedy into a single genre. See: the Wizard and the Hopping Pot, short story by JK Rowling.

Yvie FTW, eating Anne's cupcake! LOL! I loves it.

I wish I were an eel so I could eelopa but first, to find a willing eel.

That cat is so pitiful looking. You could never yell at it...ever. Your favorite shirt could be sitting there ripped to shreds and then you'd see that face. Ahhhhhh

Yvie is very smart. Also agile. From that picture, I'd say there's some practice going on for Olympic balance beam competition.

Go Yvie go! Love the picture of the kitten. Poor, poor thing. You've got one hilarious pet.

*snort* That'll teach Anne to leave!

Kitten's are possibly the cutest things on earth. Of course, at some point they always turn into cats...

eelopa... Ahahahaha...

And that kitty is so adorable, I just want to pick it up and cuddle.

That cupcake is delicious, I hope you enjoyed it wholly, Yvie ;)

I love the caption under Yvie's photo. "I go where I want!" Ah, so wonderful.

Great definitions today! My favorite was polludan.

i lurve Emoram. At work we joke when we get bunnies with hotot markings, you'd HAVE to name it Emo. Have a bunny named Emo = hilarity, especially because you KNOW he'd disapprove of everything.

(BTW, see hotot rabbits here:

and disapproving rabbits here:

ALSO i really wanted that cupcake. i heard the cookies and cream ones were the best. instead we had to eat chocolate decadence...which was great, and only tells me how awesome the c&c cupcake would've been

And honestly...had i not been packing and leaving, i may have just eaten around the chewed up parts...

Hehe, can't leave goodies lying around for a minute! And I agree with everyone else, that kitten is just the cutest thing. I wanted to pick it up, but the computer screen is in the way!

Yvie, I hate to tell you this but chocolate cupcakes, any kind of chocolate could kill you. It's true, you can have Mommy look it up for you. So be careful what you eat okay.

My favorites this week are eelopa and emoram. Thanks for the fun words.

Argh. I know I left a comment this morning and now it's gone. Blogger hates me lately.

eelopa - Ha! Emoram :D And that cat picture *squeeeeeeeeeze* I love the crime scene photo of the half-eaten cupcake!

Anne Ahiers said...

No worries Piedmont- it wasn't dark chocolate, and contrary to the pic she only ate a little bit- mostly she consumed the vanilla frosting. she didn't even eat the oreo cookie on top
