In Which I Forgot

So I completely forgot to write a post on Monday. It was extra dumb because all day Sunday I kept reminding myself not to forget, and then Monday morning I was all "I'm a dumbass!"

I think the deal is that when Twin, who normally works on Sundays, has the day off, we just do a lot of fun and wacky things, so I get off my usual scheduled events of writing blog posts and junk.

Yesterday we decorated for x-mas, so I'm going to blame that for no blog post. But, the tree is up as are the garlands and wreaths. We also now have a spot for our Christmas village we inherited from our grandma and fixed up some fancy mason jars with cranberries in water and floating tea lights.

Like this, only I used smaller jars

All in all, it looks pretty nice.

How about you? Is your house decorated?

I was supposed to blog the past TWO days, but I didn't. And I didn't forget either. Funny how when I was drafting my novel I blogged without fail, even though I was busy. Now I'm not as busy and I don't blog without fail.

I like those cranberry jar things.

I'm going to be alone for the last two weeks of the year so no decorating for me. :(

I love that votive holder though. It's so unique.

We started decorating Friday and are now done. It is always more fun putting the stuff up rather than taking it down and waving farwell to the season.

That is so pretty. I may try that this year too. Is that rosemary in there?

I still have my fall decorations up. Here, it still feels like fall so I'm holding off a bit.

My house isn't decorated yet, but it will be an interesting year for it, since we now have a young cat who I suspect will try to pull down the tree. I never had this sort of problem back when all I did was light a menorah.

And hey, since I've been scarce of late, a belated congratulations on selling Hole Ridden! May it be the first of many!

I don't decorate my house for Christmas.

Yeah, we're hosting a Christmas Party Saturday, so Mrs. Teebore got most of the decorations setup this weekend while I was working (I put out my village when I got home). It's hella awesome. I love Christmas!

I still have to tweak the outdoor lights though. I ended up needing more strands and haven't had a chance to finish them yet.

Not surprisingly, I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to Christmas lights...

The tree is up, and that's about it. I have 6 boxes of Christmas decorations downstairs but most of that is going in the yard sale next year. I'm the quintessential Scrooge.

Haven't decorated yet. Will probably do it this weekend.

Indeed, we are all decorated up in here. Outside, inside, top to bottom, bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms...even the garage and basement. Fa la la la la ♪ ♫

:)

Holiday hugs,
Lola

I have the staircase with garland and lights, the little christmas town next to the giant christmas tree. Really anything I could find to light up, I DID!!!!

We decorated the tree last night. With the munchkins "helping", it only took twice as long as normal, lol.
